Description:
Based in Kelowna, BC, this full-time maternity leave term position contract as the Marketing Manager will report to the TROIKA COO and will be responsible for all aspects of the marketing department, including strategic planning, campaign development, budget management, maintaining strong public relations, brand image and team leadership. The Marketing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the overall business objectives and drive impactful marketing initiatives for a variety of different project types, from land development to multi-family, and commercial projects, thriving in a fast-paced team environment. This role requires a dynamic individual who is a self-starter, passionate about real estate, and eager to drive marketing initiatives to success.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Strategic Planning – Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies/plans aligned with company objectives.
2. Campaign Development – Conceptualize, plan, and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print and events.
3. Market research – Conduct market research and analyze consumer behaviour, industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
4. Brand Management – Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and ensure brand guidelines are adhered to in all marketing communications.
5. Budget Management – Create and manage marketing budgets effectively, allocate resources efficiently, and track campaign performance to optimize ROI.
6. Team Leadership – Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the Marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with Sales, Leasing, Property Management, Development and other departments and affiliated companies, to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business goals. Organize promotional activities for current and new projects as well as office events.
8. Digital Marketing – Oversee digital marketing strategies, including website optimization, SEO, social media, blog writing, content development/writing and email marketing.
9. Campaign Performance Analysis – Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance metrics, generate reports, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
10. Vendor Management – Build and manage strong relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to support marketing initiatives as needed.
11. Event Coordination - Plan and execute events, email campaigns, media assets, photography, and social media strategies to ensure successful promotion and engagement.
Key Competencies:
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data driven decisions.
• Excellent creative writing, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in latest digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics/Ads, Meta Ads Manager, HubSpot CRM, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and marketing automation systems.
• Experience in editing and updating WordPress websites.
• Creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and design.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as business priorities dictate.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, influence and inspire team members to achieve excellence.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. Will consider post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, or Writing.
• Having 1-5 years as a marketing manager with a track record of successful marketing campaigns and team management in Real Estate Sales, Leasing, or Property Management.
• Must be able to travel to company projects as required.
Rate of Pay
• Salary $70,000 - $95,000 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education experience).
